They are the reason we can create a great product and do it while enjoying ourselves.We seek a Legal and Compliance Consultant to join Veo’s growing Legal and Compliance Team. You will work closely with the rest of the team and various other colleagues from departments across Veo. Your role will primarily involve commercial law tasks, focusing on market expansion. The role offers an opportunity to work on an operational and strategic level. Key responsibilities: Assess legal risks and local legal requirements for entering new markets, with support from external counsel, ensuring Veo’s operations align with local laws.Collaborate with the team to provide guidance and solutions to support operation and decision-making across Veo.Provide legal support on commercial law matters to enable Veo’s operations and growth, assisting different teams with various legal aspects of daily operations and business processes.To protect Veo's interests, Veo drafts, reviews, and negotiates various commercial agreements, including supplier and partnership agreements.Deliver training to colleagues across Veo on relevant legal matters. Your qualifications: Graduate with a master’s degree in law or business law from one of the Nordic countries.At least 5 years of experience with corporate & commercial legal matters within the Tech industry and from a law firm.Solid understanding of business practices interested in developing solutions that align with business needs, including automation and digitalization.A person who thrives on dealing with diverse tasks.Proficient communication skills (English, both oral and written).
