RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally as the primary voice of the firm. Engage with prospective clients to understand their legal situation, concerns, and goals by asking targeted questions related to legal areas to determine case eligibility based on firm criteria. Provide clear information about the firm’s services, processes, and next steps while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.Maintain organized records of client interactions utilizing the firm’s legal case management system, Clio, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.Identify urgent or time‑sensitive matters and escalate them appropriately to the Client Engagement Manager.Review incoming documents for completeness and accuracy; assist in entering clean and organized data in Google SheetsCommunicate with attorneys and staff regarding new leads, case fit, and client updates, and schedule consultations or follow‑up appointments for those that are qualified.
QUALIFICATIONS
Clear spoken English, stellar written and verbal communication skills, and a strong phone presence with active listening skillsExperience turning inbound calls into meetingsAbility to follow structured intake procedures, ask clear questions, and actively listen to client responsesExceptional Google Sheets and data entry skillsTech‑savvy with reliable high‑speed internet, consistent power, a quality headset, and a computer capable of handling video callsExceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entryAbility to work independently in a remote setting, maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills while multitasking and continuously meeting deadlinesComfortable using a time tracker that utilizes screenshots for validity
Preferred
Experience working in a law firm (family or criminal law preferred) or previous experience in legal intake, customer service, or inbound salesProficiency in Clio Fully bilingual in SpanishAbility to cover evening and weekend shifts, if neededDual monitors and a printer, or easy access to a printing service
