Location South BendPosition SummaryThe School of Education at Indiana University South Bend is seeking a full-time lecturer (Non-Tenure Track) in Elementary Education with training in and knowledge of STEM Education practices for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.Responsibilities will include:
Teach four courses per semester in elementary and/or STEM education and related content for graduate and undergraduate teacher preparation programs
Teaching in the summer is voluntary and compensated separately.
Courses may be in-person, Online, hybrid, or in additional formats, and may be offered in the evenings/weekends and off campus partner locations.
Assisting in recruitment and retention efforts as needed
Providing service to the school, college, campus, and university and participate in shared governance activities
Working collaboratively with faculty from across campuses, K-12 schools, and agencies.

Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Elementary Education or STEM Education.
5+ years of experience teaching in an elementary classroom (prek-5).
Demonstration of excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Training or certification in STEM Field
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Elementary Education or related field
Experience and evidence of successful teaching at the university level, including in online and/or hybrid settings
Experience facilitating curriculum development, mapping, and evaluation within the STEM concentrations.
