Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Academic Operations, the Learning Resource Center Coordinator will provide broad oversight of the LRC, coordinating and delivering academic support services to students. This includes tutoring, academic workshops, supplemental instruction, group study sessions, and writing assistance. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who communicates effectively with faculty, Deans, and students to align services with their needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide oversight of the Learning Resource Center, including coordinating and delivering academic support services
Select, train, schedule, and supervise student peer tutors
Communicate with Deans and faculty regarding the needs of at-risk students
Collaborate with faculty to provide course-specific tutoring and develop academic support resources
Track and report on the use of LRC services and create plans to increase service adoption
Serve as the campus ADA Coordinator and participate in college activities, including committee work and orientation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
At least two years of experience working in student support or related experience; higher education experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate with Microsoft Office 365 and videoconferencing software; experience with Canvas LMS, SMART board, ExamSoft/Examplify preferred
