Learning Designer II - Remote Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Designer II to join our team, working remotely with a competitive salary of $30/hour. As a Learning Designer II, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing pilot training programs for Delta Airlines, utilizing Educational Systems Design, Continuous Improvement, Change Management, and Evaluation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop examination reports, design documents, curriculum frameworks, implementation plans, instructor courseware, and administrative documentation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure pilot training programs are effective, efficient, consistent, and aligned with corporate safety and operational goals
Support internal and external audits, continuous improvement initiatives, formal evaluation programs, incident investigations, and approvals to ensure compliance with approved curricula
Analyze various sources of data to determine training program effectiveness and efficiency, and summarize results in formal reports
Maintain formal documentation of government and corporate programs, an electronic Program Review Information Database (PRID), and a training recording/certification system
Develop instructor guides, schedules, and Learning Objectives Documents
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
Degree in Education, Educational Systems Design, Aviation, or equivalent work experience
Experience using Educational Systems Design (ISD) methodologies
Minimum of three years of training-related work experience
Project management experience
Experience working with technical training subjects
Experience with compliance training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Basic or intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
Commercial/Airline Transport Pilot, Flight Engineer, Certified Ground/Flight Instructor certifications or military equivalents
Experience designing, developing, or instructing flight-related subjects
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and related guidance material
Familiarity with the FAA Advanced Qualification Program (AQP)
Experience with training system and compliance auditing
Experience with content management systems (CMS)
Proficiency with Smartsheet
Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, or Project
Experience using Adobe Acrobat
Basic or intermediate skill in Adobe FrameMaker or similar authoring platform
