Learning and Development Quality Assurance Specialist

This position is for contract work. Work will be project-based, with timelines and scope varying depending on client needs.
Responsibilities
• Proofread and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style errors, maintaining a high standard of writing quality.
• Rewrite content when necessary to improve clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving the original meaning and intent.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers and Developers to maintain consistent writing standards, style guidelines, and tone of voice across all content.
• Ensure adherence to editorial guidelines, including citation and referencing standards.
• Actively participate in and/or facilitate in-person or virtual meetings as needed to support learning projects
• Excellent attention to detail that results in high-quality work
• Enthusiasm for the work
Requirements
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, including a strong command of grammar and style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago).
• Meticulous attention to detail and a critical eye for proofreading.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with content creators.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and writing tools is a plus.
