Leadership and Global Communication Specialist

About the position As Specialist of Leadership and Global Communications, this role will own messaging development for the Global CEO and Executive Leadership Team, as well as execution of functional internal communications for the Global Data Centers division (GDC) of NTT DATA. This will be a global role, working across all critical communication areas including executive, function, change, and engagement communications. Cross-functional collaboration will be required to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and all areas of the organization. This role will report to the Director of Global Internal Communications and be a member of the Global People and Culture team. Pivotal to the success of this role will be the ability to communicate at an executive level, develop messaging frameworks and presentations, and have a deep understanding of how to effectively cascade messaging within a global, matrixed organization. Successful candidates will have a passion for storytelling, be a self-starter who learns quickly, enjoy working in a fast-paced, global environment and have a proven ability in delivering concise, creative, and effective communications. Responsibilities • Ownership of Global CEO communications including content development for internal meetings with key employee segments, video content, and other messaging to global employee base as needed. • Oversight of all global leadership communications to drive consistency in messaging. • Embed and champion best practices for communications within NTT GDC, its leaders and teams. • Play a key role in managing the full scope of global internal communications to meet key business objectives. • Maintain and/or develop tools, and solutions to measure program effectiveness. • Manage the delivery of internal communications consistent with the NTT GDC strategy and brand to achieve global objectives and business outcomes. • Develop communication strategies in support of global programs that foster employee engagement and a strong company culture. • Utilize mix of available channels to reach and engage targeted internal audiences. • Collaborate cross-functionally with executives and senior leaders as needed to ensure optimization of channels, consistency of messaging, and alignment of global communication efforts. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required. • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in internal communications. • Experience in developing internal communications, company culture, and change communication programs with measurable results. • Extensive demonstrated experience in managing multiple time-critical projects with a proven track record in success. • Experience working globally / cross-culturally and in a matrix environment. • Experience with using Eloqua or other enterprise-grade communications software. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and comfortable with designing presentation and communications in Eloqua/Populo, and Outlook. Nice-to-haves • Proven ability to draft concise, creative and effective communications. • Highly collaborative individual who thrives in a global, matrixed organization. • Self-starter and quick learner, with a strong attention to detail. • Excellent writer, proficient in designing and executing effective internal communications across channels that deliver stated outcomes across varied audience segments. • Familiar with how to maintain data and metrics used to evaluate the impact of communication efforts. Benefits • Base salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. • All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance. • Employees receive paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan.
