Position at a Glance: Company: Wells Fargo Position: Lead Software Engineer - Wells Fargo Application Status Compensation: $26-$35 per hour Location: Remote (with opportunities for relocation) Start Date: Immediate openings available Key Responsibilities: As a Lead Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for: Leading complex technology initiatives with company-wide impact, including those that require collaboration with multiple stakeholders and teams Developing and implementing standards and best practices for designing and engineering large-scale technology solutions Configuring, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting projects and applications Analyzing and evaluating complex technology solutions to ensure they meet strategic and tactical business objectives Making informed decisions about technology solutions, including selecting vendors, tools, and platforms Collaborating with technical specialists, senior technology leaders, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues Leading teams, mentoring junior engineers, and providing guidance on technical best practices Essential Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: 4+ years of experience in computer programming, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education Experience leading scrum teams and delivering complex projects Proficiency in Java technology, including J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework Ability to write and optimize complex stored procedures and SQL queries on Oracle and DB2 platforms Experience with XML, JSON, and JMS MQ APIs Proficiency in performance tuning of application components running on Tomcat and WebSphere Experience with Kafka and Kees streaming platforms, as well as GitHub source code repository Familiarity with JIRA board, including story writing, run scheduling, and execution Preferred Qualifications: We also welcome candidates with: BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science or related field Experience with AWK and Unix shell scripting Familiarity with FICO Bird of Prey risk scoring platform or other risk scoring platforms Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and migration of applications Experience with Splunk tool and risk screening and fraud management of Charge and Store transactions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At Wells Fargo, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
