SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with Polygraphs are requiredPOSITION: Senior Software EngineerREQUISITION: PUFF-SWE3-19.050225bLOCATION: Columbia, MarylandJOB DESCRIPTION:Backend/Frontend Developer with ContainerYard ExperienceTechnical Stack:● Backend: Django, Python, Docker, Kubernetes● Frontend: Angular, JavaScript● Database: PostgreSQL● Cloud: AWS (hosting and deployment)● Integration: Apache NiFi for image import/validation (low to high side)Required Skills:● Strong experience with ContainerYard and Docker.● Familiarity with Go (Microservices).● Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.● Ability to work in an Agile environment, following industry best practices for deployment and bug fixes.Key Responsibilities:● Develop and maintain backend services using Django and Python.● Implement and manage containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.● Ensure all configurations are stored and version-controlled via Ansible playbooks, with a focus on automation and consistency.● Collaborate on the integration of image import processes using Apache NiFi.● Participate in weekly development meetings (Wednesdays) and bi-weekly ContainerYard meetings with customers (every other Thursday).● Contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, and expansion of the ContainerYard system, including adding new features and improvements.● Work with Microservices, primarily written in Go, and be ready to assume leadership of this area, including the potential to train and guide others in the future.Bonus Skills:● Willingness to grow into a leadership role, acting as the point of contact for the team and taking on mentoring responsibilities.\\\\\\\\\\\CERTIFICATION: N/AEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s Degree + 20 years, OR • No Degree + 24 years NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.
