Lead Software Engineer (Platform Developer Experience Team)

Minted seeks a passionate Lead Engineer to lead our technical and operational initiatives within the Platform Developer Experience team. The Developer Experience team is a crucial team that is primarily focused on making the lives of other developers better. This is a pivotal time as we shape the next-generation of our developer experience platform, supporting key engineering functionalities such as QA automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and development tooling optimization. As a technical leader, you will drive innovation, mentor team members, and ensure seamless collaboration with engineering, product, and leadership teams to achieve strategic objectives. You Will: Lead the engineering team by setting technical direction, driving best practices, and fostering a culture of excellenceLead and drive large projects and initiatives within the Developer Experience domainMentor and coach team members to elevate their technical and professional skillsDefine and implement technical solutions for Developer Experience, ensuring ease of use, scalability, and reliabilityOversee development processes, including system architecture, code quality, and deployment pipelinesSolve complex engineering challenges, integrating systems for QA automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as codePartner with cross-functional teams to define and deliver a cohesive roadmap for Developer ExperienceEnhance system performance through iterative improvements, leveraging data-driven insightsEnsure robust testing frameworks and implement continuous improvement strategies for development tooling and automation. You Have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or similar relevant working experience8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership roleProficient in modern programming languages and frameworksProven experience designing scalable architectures and maintaining mission-critical systemsExperience in QA Automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Python, and CI/CD practices. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted.
