Lead Software Engineer- Fusion Analytics Warehouse
Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to provide consultation and technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical... expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.
What you will do
Solid understanding of Oracle's analytics offerings including Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
Having 3+ years' experience in development and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse components.
Building data models, reports and dashboards, and support, manage data model, data pipelines, and perform any customizations.
Must have experience in developing PLSQL packages, procedures and functions in lieu of developing and supporting custom ETL packages.
Good understanding of technical aspects of FAW - ERP Financials, Projects and Procurement implementations and/or customizations including data migrations, integrations, and custom development.
Experience in creating Workbooks in OAC and provide support on aspects such as data model changes and created semantic model extensions
Managing users, groups, application roles and data access in FAW environment, customizing as per business needs.
Good understanding of Oracle quarterly FAW Oracle release testing in synchronization with ERP releases.
Enable FAW augmentation to support custom ETL, data integration with other data platforms.
Strong technical background in Data Warehouse and reporting concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) is a plus.
Function
al understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP and EPM modules).
6 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
6 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
6 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
7 years of experience in software development or a related field
6 years of experience in database technologies
6 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
Good understanding of performance of the database queries, data pipelines, and system resources. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
4 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
4 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
6 years of experience working with source code control systems
Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools
6 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions
