Job Description Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP MM Consultant This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education • At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology. • This position is based in Austin, TX. Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily. Preferred Qualifications: • At least 7 years of experience in SAP MM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation. • Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution • Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas. • Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essential • Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essential • Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable • Ability to read ABAP codes is required. • Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces • Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements • Testing and rollout of the final product • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously • Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams • Good Analytical and Communication skills • Good Planning and Co-ordination skills The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
