This person will report to the Product Lead and must be able to work independently on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.A successful Product Owner is someone who is highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple solutions that delight end users and stakeholder teams. The ideal candidate for this role will have a sense for business value with a good understanding of technical concepts that apply in the Healthcare or similar industry. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders and leadership are essential to success in this role.ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will:Own the product roadmap for the assigned product/experience areasWork in a cross-functional environment to define technical options, requirements and timelines for innovative technologies that increase the productivity of usersInterface with organizational stakeholders - end users, vendors, research and engineering teamsInteract at varying organizational levels to advise on strategy and technical options to solve user problemsNegotiate features and release timelines with multiple internal teams and set prioritiesYou have experience in cloud technologies and the capabilities it enables for product functionality and delivery of value adding data and information.Lead or coordinates cross-functional, agile teams from prototype design to delivery of fully-developed minimum viable products that are ready for customer use.Work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.Leading meetings and defining product roadmaps to create successful product launchesExercise independent judgement and decision making on complex issues to determine the best course of action.Required QualificationsAbility to effectively prioritize what matters and manage multiple streams of work at the same time.Collaborate exceptionally well intra-team as well as with broader internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, business teams and partners. Share information and results effectively and succinctly with right level of information detail.Achieve favorable outcomes when there is conflict of interest, both internally and externally using data, technology and market knowledge.Establish, align on and communicate product roadmap(s).Experience with analyzing competitor activities vs. own products/solutions; develop awareness of directional competitor behavior.Knowledgeable about user needs and behavior patterns. Form and present empathy maps and clearly identify user profiles. Can map features to target personas and value.Expertise in using analytics, metrics and key performance indicators to measure progress.Ability to set and track product performance goals. Use and present usage and performance data that influence product direction and development.Ability to identify and quantify opportunities for roadmap prioritization. Assess tech debt as part of the development backlog and manage accordingly.Ensures backlog is visible, is prioritized based on user and business value, is constantly revisited, estimated & prioritized.Deep understanding of agile development processes; lean and service design oriented startup mentality.Ability to deeply understand good and bad user experience and identify opportunities for improvement. Design for Delight mindset.Understanding of tracking intra product dependencies, system integrations, interfaces.Bachelor's degree and 7 years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2 years of product manager, product owner or senior business analyst experience.Experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud-PaaS, SaaS, API, mobile friendly development, Machine Learning, AI or similar.Preferred QualificationsBS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a BA degree with engineering, quantitative/analytics backgroundExperience with senior management and executive level teamsProduct owner or management certification(s) with Pragmatic Institute, product school, Scrum Product Owner certifications or training, or similarFamiliarity with Healthcare is a plusScheduled Weekly Hours40 Apply tot his job
