Lead Product Designer – Digital Product

Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. We are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR.
As a Lead Product Designer at Fueled, you will own design outcomes on complex client engagements, shaping product experiences from discovery through delivery. You are a senior individual contributor who leads through influence, clarity, and craft. You’ll work closely with researchers, product managers, engineers, and clients to translate insight into elegant, scalable solutions.

What you will do:
• Own end-to-end product design for complex mobile applications and digital products, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Lead design across iOS, Android, and responsive surfaces, shaping interaction models, accessibility, and scalable systems.
• Translate research, business goals, and technical constraints into product experiences that feel clear, durable, and intentional.
• Explore, prototype, and validate ideas through flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI systems, and polished final designs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and clients to align on intent, trade-offs, and outcomes.

• Raise the quality bar through exceptional craft, usability, and polish across the full product experience.

• Advocate relentlessly for users so products feel useful, usable, and meaningful, not just well-designed.
About you:
• You bring 6–10+ years of experience in product design, UX, or digital design, including ownership of complex products or platforms.
• You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and skilled at creating clarity without needing perfect information.
• You design with intent, grounding decisions in research, evidence, and user context—not personal preference.
• You lead through influence, collaboration, and thoughtful communication rather than hierarchy or title.
• You care deeply about craft and outcomes, balancing polish with pragmatism and knowing when to refine versus ship.
Contractor Fee
Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, projects, geographic location, and business needs.
