About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Lead .NET Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in .NET technologies and the React ecosystem, including Next JS. This position is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable solutions that drive our Property & Casualty Insurance services forward, making a significant impact on our business and clients. The ideal candidate will have 12 to 16 years of experience and will work within a small, multi-functional team that includes a Product Manager, Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers, and Big Data analysts. This team is dedicated to building higher quality software faster, fostering collective empathy and camaraderie to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high-quality work. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction. You will have a deep understanding of Web UI development using container frameworks and will develop end-to-end designs for the platform, ensuring solution delivery and execution while maintaining code quality. Your expertise in application performance tuning and industry best practices will be essential as you collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owners, product managers, and enterprise architecture to ensure the successful delivery of production solutions. Working on Agile projects with CI/CD, you will collaborate closely with quality assurance engineers and DevOps teams to ensure adherence to all SDLC processes. You will also assess opportunities for platform/application and process improvements, maintain, solve, optimize, and enhance existing systems, and communicate effectively with multi-functional collaborators and application integration partners. Your hands-on experience in Web and C#/.NET development, along with your ability to integrate multiple application platforms, will be crucial for this role.

• Overall experience (10+ years) in software development.
