Job Title: Lead National Accounts Reports to: Chief Commercial Head - Retail Business Pay Range : $170,000 - $250,000 base + 20% target bonus The Lead for National Accounts, manages customer relationship, deliver perspective and strategy around proposals and opportunities (future-looking and pipeline) to deliver on sales admin and sales support for US. Specifically deliver the revenue and profit goals of the organization through the execution within their account assignment(s) Key Accountabilities: Accountability Cluster Major Activities / Tasks Execute the company sales strategy and develop individual account plans to deliver the established goals. Manage specific customer relationships Deliver perspective and strategy around proposals and opportunities (future-looking and pipeline) for assigned accounts Support the sales administration and operational needs of the customer Increase the depth of sales with accounts Assess market needs, review objectives, develop actions plans for achieving sales targets Drive achievement of sales within the zone by identifying sales opportunities, setting achievable goals, attaining new key accounts for augmenting sales, formulating plans in order to meet the assigned sales targets Deliver product proposals and effectively position company against competitors to “win” at the customer Present company story and strategy during customer introductions and ongoing engagements to continuously strengthen the company’s position within the customer. Evaluate existing and future portfolio against assigned customer base and direct company to align customer interests to available products Maintain customer forecasts and support demand planning functions Conduct competitor analyses to ensure that Cipla products are maintaining the competitiveness in terms of cost and value in the market Review the competition and their - respective products tactics, and marketing strategies used to retain accounts and recommend strategies for Cipla's process improvement Customer sales support and administrative activities Key point of contact and escalation to unresolved customer service, administration, and financial issues Present customer account requirements for sales operations. Deliver key updates and operational improvements to the customer. Support required customer communications for customer service and sales administrative issues Guidance about pricing in the US market Customer perspective Market intelligence Maximize profit, but also win the business Ensure updated in their customer engagements Further messaging big opportunities Skills & Knowledge: Educational qualifications: 4-year degree, preferred in business, marketing, or finance Relevant experience: 10+ years of total sales experience, preferred last 5 years with direct pharmaceutical experience with an emphasis on key account management, generics sales experience a plus Good analytical skills Good people management skills to coordinate with multiple teams and get the work done in time Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with customers About Cipla: Cipla is a leading global pharmaceutical company, dedicated to high-quality, branded, and generic medicines.
