About Linden Grove Mentoring

Linden Grove Mentoring (“LGM”) is a non-profit ministry dedicated to mentoring pastors, church leaders, and

their spouses. Through one-on-one mentoring, cohort-based learning, and development of a supportive

Founded in September 2020, LGM has grown rapidly by the grace of God. As we enter a new season of expansion,

we seek a Lead Mentor who, in addition to leading their own cohorts, will train and steward adjunct mentors to

successfully lead one-on-one mentoring and cohort-based learning. Our staff and adjunct mentors live and work

remotely in several states.

adjunct mentors, and does so with integrity and clarity.

leadership community.

3. Hire and train adjunct mentors.

4. Oversee the adjunct mentors and their one-on-one mentoring and mentee cohorts.

5. Oversee ministry to mentors and mentees, maintain relationships, meet for occasional personal

hours, and oversee the planning and execution of specific topical training seminars.

6. Mentor at least one cohort, which includes group and one-on-ones, at all times.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

1. Embody the biblical qualifications of an elder, demonstrating mature Christlike character,

humility, integrity, and spiritual credibility.

2. Affirm LGM’s doctrinal statement and mission, wholeheartedly supporting its theological

commitments, mentoring philosophy, and distinctives.

3. At least 15 years’ experience as a local church pastor.

4. Have demonstrated mentoring experience with evidence of sustained investment in the

mentees.
