As a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering individualized instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for math in our students. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality, individualized instruction in a group setting. Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, adapting your teaching approach as needed. Communicate student progress with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and insights. Teach and tutor students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method , terminology, and teaching practices. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, staying up-to-date on the latest tools and technologies. Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all students. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our center. Essential Qualifications A passion for math and a desire to share that passion with students. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Eagerness to learn and be trained in our proprietary Mathnasium Method and teaching practices. Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, with a strong foundation in math concepts and principles. The ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a math instructor or tutor, particularly in a center-based or online setting. A degree in mathematics, education, or a related field. Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels, from K-12th grade. Familiarity with digital educational tools and platforms, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
