Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, individualized math instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed. Assess student learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to optimize student outcomes. Communicate student progress effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed and involved in their child's educational journey. Teach and tutor students using the Mathnasium Method ™ , terminology, and teaching practices, both in-center and through online or hybrid delivery models. Become proficient in the use of digital educational materials and processes, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in math education. Support the maintenance of a safe, professional, and welcoming learning environment that encourages students to explore and learn. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the learning center. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel as a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of South Ogden, you'll need: A genuine passion for math and a desire to share this passion with students. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. An eagerness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method ™ and other teaching methodologies. Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, demonstrated through a math literacy test as part of the application process. The ability to balance leadership responsibilities with instructional duties, providing guidance and support to team members while delivering high-quality teaching. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math, particularly with students in the 2nd-12th grade range.
