Job Responsibilities
As a Lead Math Instructor and Tutor, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching, and collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Communicating student progress with parents and guardians
Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed as a Lead Math Instructor and Tutor, you'll need:
A passion for math and working with students
Excellent interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and be trained
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
