Lead Health Informatics Analyst
Job Description: • Lead advanced data analysis efforts to provide actionable insights that improve clinical and operational outcomes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nurses, and department leaders, to identify and implement EMR system enhancements. • Configure EMR modules, develop custom templates and build automated workflows to optimize system performance and user experience. • Serve as the lead subject matter expert on EMR systems, providing guidance on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. • Oversee developing and generating complex reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. • Conduct training sessions for end-users, ensuring proficiency in system navigation and maximizing EMR capabilities. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing leadership, direction, and mentorship to junior analysts. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proactively identifying system gaps and opportunities for optimization. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain data integrity across all platforms. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Information Systems, or a related field • Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare informatics, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead analysis role • Proven expertise in configuring and customizing EMR systems, eCW, with strong knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare operations • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, including HIPAA • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment • Self-motivated with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
