Lead HD Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Illinois or Iowa
About the position
Responsibilities
• Interpret providers' prescriptions and create orders.
• Assist with operations support, training, and process improvements.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content.
• Create and route pharmacy orders through receipt.
• Handle inbound and outbound member/patient calls.
• Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, and submit prescription orders in the computer system.
• Contact members/patients/providers to validate data and request payment information.
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and solve moderately complex problems.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer experience with every interaction.
• Complete holistic case management duties for each assigned customer.
Requirements
• Active and unrestricted State NHA CpHT license OR Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician license via EXCPT OR PTCB without restrictions OR ability to obtain one of the listed licenses prior to start date.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Currently resides in Illinois or Iowa.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST (40 hours per week).
• 18 years of age or older.
