Description

Position Summary: The lead digital content specialist is responsible for coordinating digital content creation and content distribution across digital channels for Unity including websites, emails, and social media. Compelling content will be created to attract and retain audiences and create conversions to help grow Unity audiences.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Package existing and develop new content to drive leads and create awareness. Provide audiences with regular informational and inspirational content through creative messaging and storytelling. Research and pitch potential topics as needed or requested to create original content.

2. In partnership with other members of Communications, coordinate a robust editorial calendar of digital content for use on websites, emails, and social media. Manage creation of regular informational and inspirational content through creative messaging and storytelling.

3. Regularly analyze SEO trends and adapt content efforts based on data. In partnership with the digital Communications team, work to ensure landing page copy is optimized to maximize lead generation and conversions.

4. In partnership with other Communication staff and stakeholders, analyze email and other marketing campaigns and make recommendations for future efforts.

5. Post regularly to S&H social media and monitor social media channels for questions and comments.

6. Measure/track audience information and demographics as well as success of existing social media projects. Recommend and present new ideas and concepts for social media campaigns.

7. Professionally stay invested in learning the latest best practices in online lead generation and digital content marketing.

8. Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adherence to assigned schedule commitments.

9. Adherence to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety guidelines.

10. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance, and paid time requests.

11. Support a positive team environment in which members participate, respect, and cooperate with each other to achieve desired results.

Qualifications

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications. Combination of professional years of experience and education will be considered.

Professional Experience:

1. 3+ years of digital content experience preferred with excellent organization skills.

2. Exceptional communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

3. Knowledge of content management, email, and social media digital platforms required.

4. Knowledge of SEO best practices.

5. Detail-oriented, ability to meet tight deadlines.

6. Ability to work quickly across multiple projects independently.

Technology and Computer or Equipment Skills:

1. Knowledge of content management, email, and social media platforms required.

2. Knowledge of Adobe Design Tools.

3. Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

4. Proven ability to produce compelling content for websites, email and social media.

5. Basic video editing skills
