Lead Data Scientist - Global Payments & Liquidity

What You’ll Do • Drive Strategy Through Data: Partner with senior business leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable data science initiatives that influence product innovation and customer engagement. • Lead Advanced Modeling: Design and implement sophisticated machine learning and deep learning models, leveraging cutting-edge statistical techniques to uncover insights and predict outcomes. • Architect Scalable Solutions: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust, secure, and production-ready deployment of analytics solutions across cloud platforms. • Champion Data Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and reproducibility, ensuring models meet the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. • Communicate Impact: Present complex findings in a clear, compelling way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving informed decisions at the executive level. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education • 5+ years experience in Python and SQL • 1+ years experience in leadership or mentorship of more junior team members • Masters degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science Preferred Qualifications • Expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience with NLP or predictive modeling. • Prior experience supporting Agile product teams in a corporate environment. • Familiarity with banking products, transaction services, and working capital solutions. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
