As a Lead Data Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of this effort, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights that shape our business strategy. The Role: Lead Data Analyst As a Lead Data Analyst within the Commitment Examination group, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming data into insights that drive business decisions. You'll lead the team in developing reporting plans, data strategies, and tooling that enable our stakeholders to make informed decisions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the adoption of analytics as a critical value driver across our organization. Key Responsibilities: Business Performance Reporting and Representation: Serve as the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to understand the performance of our platforms. Dive deep into metrics to drive meaningful insights that improve business performance or double down on success. Reporting and Tooling Strategy: Lead the team in creating consistent and meaningful metrics and reporting across streaming platforms. Collaborate with experts to build tooling and communicate insights to stakeholders. BI Execution: Drive reporting for large-scale data, acting as a subject matter expert for analysts and collaborating with Data Engineering and Engineering to design and build performant ETLs, intermediary tables, and dashboards. Creation of a Single Source of Truth: Work with our Leadership team to define and normalize metrics for assessing product performance. Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to establish a unified view of our business. ETL and Metric Design: Own metric design and creation, defining business requirements, structuring and developing data models, and ensuring long-term data adaptability. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and drive decision-making. Collaborate with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data architecture. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Math, or a related field. Proficiency in creating data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. 4+ years of analytical experience, preferably in analytics engineering. Proficiency in SQL, with experience in SparkSQL, Hive, etc. Experience with OLAP databases like Snowflake or Redshift. Experience creating and maintaining derived tables for reporting through ETLs. Project and asset management experience, including illustrating targets, timelines, and orchestrating work across multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages. A strong drive to deliver exceptional results and a passion for turning data into insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
