About the Role

The Inventory Accounting Lead Analyst is a critical position within our world-class controllership organization. As a Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities related to store inventory, supporting the company's ongoing financial transformation, and assisting in the close process. You'll work closely with project teams, external business partners, and internal customers to drive problem-solving efforts, ensure excellent customer service, and encourage continuous improvement of processes and delivery.

Key Responsibilities


Collaboration: Develop and recommend solutions, build trust, and collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback concerning business needs.
Continuous Improvements & Controls: Participate in the continuous improvement of FBS processes, develop scalable solutions, and ensure proper documentation of processes and job-specific requirements.
Operational Duties & Oversight: Coordinate execution by a small team, collaborate with other teams, build and propose solutions, foster continuous improvement and innovation, and ensure execution of controls related to day-to-day activities.
People Management & Team Leadership: Provide guidance to Analysts and Senior Analysts, evaluate execution and contribution, support timely feedback, and foster collaboration with team members to develop a supportive and engaged team.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
4+ years of experience in inventory accounting, financial analysis, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with data analytics, data visualization, and application implementation
Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana, Google BigQuery, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
Previous people or project team management experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
