Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm, is seeking a talentedmid to senior-level Associate Attorney to join their premier Labor & Employment Group, supporting the California practice in Los Angeles and San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated employers in complex labor and employment (L&E) disputes, with a particular focus on wage and hour class actions, while collaborating with a nationally recognized team.

Candidate Profile
• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
• 3-5 years of substantive employment litigation experience
• Extensive experience defending wage & hour claims, including class action lawsuits
• Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality, strategic work product
• Experience drafting key legal documents and managing discovery
• Desire for trial work
• Ability to work efficiently within a team-focused, high-performance environment
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong professional relationships
Key Responsibilities
• Handle complex employment litigation matters, including the defense of wage & hour claims and wage & hour class actions
• Draft and refine pleadings, motions, class certification briefs, and related filings
• Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation work
• Manage and oversee discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across the firm's CA offices to develop litigation strategies
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving class action issues
• Maintain clear, client-ready communication and deliver practical guidance

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive Salary: Expected annual base salary range is $250,000-$310,000, as determined by experience and market factors
