Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Consumer Law Attorney to join our established nationwide law firm, focusing on consumer rights. This role is ideal for both new attorneys looking to gain experience and seasoned lawyers considering a more flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Review and Analysis: Thoroughly examine settlement agreements to ensure compliance with consumer law and protect client interests.
ā¢ Task Management: Update and manage tasks related to ongoing cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is accurate.
ā¢ Client Interaction: Engage with clients occasionally to provide updates, answer queries, and offer legal advice pertinent to their cases.
Position Details:
ā¢ Location: This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
ā¢ Schedule: Flexible hours, accommodating both new attorneys expanding their legal practice and retirees looking for part-time engagement.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
ā¢ Active license to practice law in Rhode Island
ā¢ Experience in consumer law is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
ā¢ Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
