Law Enforcement Transcriptionist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Law Enforcement Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing law enforcement-related audio recordings, including interviews, interrogations, patrol reports, and other official recordings. This role requires a strong command of English, excellent grammar and punctuation skills, and the ability to adhere to strict confidentiality standards. Flexible hours. Contractor (1099) position.
ā¢ *Role and Responsibilities:**
ā¢ -Accurately transcribe law enforcement audio and video recordings, including but not limited to, suspect interviews, witness statements, 911 calls, and officer narratives.
ā¢ - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
ā¢ - Collaborate with a team of transcribers.
ā¢ - Ensure consistency in terminology, format, and style.
ā¢ - Meet deadlines without compromising quality.
ā¢ - Must meet a minimum monthly output of 10 audio hours.
ā¢ *Qualifications:**
ā¢ -Previous editing or transcription experience preferred, especially in a law enforcement setting.
ā¢ - Exceptional attention to detail.
ā¢ - Strong command of the English language and grammar.
ā¢ - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
ā¢ - Familiarity with law enforcement terminology is a plus.
ā¢ -Must have a foot pedal.
