Key Responsibilities • Advise the board and staff on effective engagement with law enforcement agencies. • Serve as a strategic connector between WeAFAR and law enforcement while protecting victims’ interests. • Collaborate with the Victim Intake Officer to identify cases that may require referral, without directly managing individual victims. • Offer insights into trends in financial crime investigations, helping shape prevention and support strategies. Ideal Background • Retired or current law enforcement professional with experience in fraud, financial crime, or cybercrime. • Skilled in communication, able to translate law enforcement processes into accessible guidance. • Passionate about victim-centered support and nonprofit mission alignment.
