Responsibilities
Ā Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
Ā Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Ā Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Ā Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
Ā Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
Ā All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ā Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
Ā Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Ā Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
Ā Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
Ā Must be able to work around cleaning products.
Ā Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
Ā Residency within the service area required
