Cooperstown Center is hiring a Laundry Aide in Cooperstown, NY.Full-time, Part-time, and Per-Diem shifts availableDuties:Collects, sorts, washes, dries, folds and distributes all laundry items to residentsPresses/irons garments as requestedLabels residents’ personal laundry and linens as directedCleans dryer filters as necessaryEnsures adequate supply of laundry supplies are in stockNotifies supervisor when supplies are lowKeeps laundry carts clean and in good working orderProperly stores equipment, tools and suppliesKeeps a log of missing items, and returns them when foundReports any mechanical or equipment needs to supervisorReports any questionable resident conditions to supervisorRequirements:One-year experience working with laundryHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to work as a team memberAbility to work effectively and efficientlyPositive and upbeat attitude About us:Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 174-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the heart of the Mohawk Valley and just minutes away from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
