Latin America Portuguese Specialist
Disney Central is seeking enthusiastic bilingual English and Portuguese-speaking Latin America Consumer Direct (LACD) Specialists to deliver magical vacation planning experiences with exceptional guest service and attention to detail!
Position Overview
Join our team at Disney Central in Orlando, Florida, in an hourly inbound contact center role focused on creating memorable vacation experiences for our Guests. You'll receive paid training, participate in performance assessments, and work across flexible hours to serve our diverse clientele.
Location & Operating Hours
• Location: Disney Central, Orlando, Florida
• Hours: Sunday through Saturday, 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Compensation
The starting pay rate for this exciting opportunity is $20.10 per hour.
Responsibilities
• Provide top-tier guest service exceeding Disney’s quality standards
• Assist guests with Latin America Consumer Direct channel, Walt Disney World® Resort Room, Dine & Recreation bookings, and Ticket products
• Support internet help desk services, troubleshooting website issues, and guiding guests through procedural solutions
• Help guests who have already booked reservations by processing payments, modifying bookings, suggesting additional vacation experiences, and managing other projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
• Bilingual proficiency: Fluent verbal and written skills in both English and Portuguese, including telephone etiquette
• Experience: Sales and customer service background in a contact center environment
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, listening, and oral communication abilities
• Learning: Eagerness to acquire new policies, procedures, products, and software applications
• Adaptability: Ability to handle new situations quickly and efficiently
• Problem-solving: Excellent decision-making skills
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and navigating multiple computer systems and mobile applications
• Product knowledge: Solid understanding of Walt Disney World products and services
• Communication: Ability to interact effectively with other Disney departments
• Organization: Strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of sales or service experience in a call center setting
• Previous experience with Walt Disney World® systems
• Knowledge of Disney business practices, applications, and websites
• Familiarity with international vacation planning practices
• Ability to thrive in a structured work environment
