Baker Botts is a full-service, leading international law firm seeking a Lateral Partner Recruiting Assistant to join their Legal Recruiting Department. This role provides administrative and project support for lateral partner recruiting efforts, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.ResponsibilitiesAssist with coordinating Firmwide lateral partner recruiting efforts, including assisting with interview scheduling, onboarding, and orientationArrange and schedule lateral candidate interviews and meetings across offices, including maintaining calendars and appointment schedules, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materialsKeep updated candidate notes in the applicant tracking systemAttend and participate in weekly lateral partner recruiting update callsAssist with general administrative duties as neededOther projects as assigned by Chief Recruiting Officer and the Lateral Partner Recruiting teamSkillsMinimum of 1 year of professional work experience requiredBachelors degree requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills are requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)Must always demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and professional demeanorMust be highly organized, meticulously-detail oriented, while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracyMust demonstrate a proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretionAbility to perform in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple assignments, and work responsibly under pressureMust be a highly resourceful team-player, and polite and respectful of othersMust speak and act professionally at all times and maintain a professional appearanceExperience with lateral partner recruiting strongly preferredCompany OverviewBaker Botts is a full-service international law firm in the energy, technology, and life sciences sectors.
