We value independent and critical thinking.We are looking for an outstanding team member to join in managing and coordinating the collection of delinquent payments for auto loan accounts. Key Responsibilities: Perform delinquent account collection calls, emails, or text messages assigned by managementService inbound customer calls pertaining to collectionsMaintain clear and descriptive notesSet up and process one-time and recurring paymentsPrepare delinquent accounts for pre-repossession statusPerform skip trace duties to locate customersCommunicate with clients in a timely and orderly fashion by sending out noticesReview accounts that have been referred for repossession and legal actions against debtorsAssist subordinates with collection activities in difficult cases and recommend collection techniquesIssue written and oral instructionsEnforce compliance with Collection Standard of Conduct policiesPerform various administrative functions Requirements: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required, with a preference for candidates who are also trilingual in PortugueseOne plus years' experience with collections in a call center environmentSkip trace experienceAuto collections experience is preferredPrevious work in collections, preferably in the automotive industryOutstanding customer, communication and organizational skillHigh level of integrityStrong sense of teamwork yet able to work independently Additional Information We believe:Diversityis a competitive advantage.We celebrate our differences, and are better when we have a variety of experiences, viewpoints, and backgrounds.Compassionis a strength.We care about our customers and look to build long-term relationships with them.Simplicityis a key feature.We work hard to make our forms and processes as painless and intuitive as possible.Honesty and transparency are non negotiable.We incorporate these traits in all of our interactions.Financial opportunity belongs to everyone.We work every day to improve lives by extending this opportunity.If you believe these things too then we would love to hear from you!
