Language Auditor - Japanese (Full-Time)
About the position
As a Language Auditor - Japanese at a global leader in AI development, you will play a crucial role in training generative artificial intelligence models in specialty domains. This full-time position allows you to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., providing flexibility while contributing to cutting-edge technology. Your primary responsibility will be to review and audit complex and varied data to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and consistency are met. We are seeking specialists who are native Japanese speakers with a background in translation, linguistics, or professional writing. A strong attention to detail is essential, as you will be evaluating work produced for specific, high-priority projects. In this role, you will be tasked with auditing work produced for various language projects that are integral to the training of generative AI models. This includes reviewing original and challenging prompts for the AI model to respond to, as well as assessing edited responses that have been generated by the AI and subsequently edited by a human. You will also evaluate the factual accuracy of texts produced by the AI model. To facilitate collaboration and communication, you will attend 2-4 recurring weekly meetings with your team. Responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
,
• Native fluency in Japanese
,
• At least one of the following: post-graduate degree conducted in Japanese, Japanese translation experience, or professional Japanese writing/editing experience

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in spotting writing errors and inconsistencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
