This role is key to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure that supports critical applications and services.Main Responsibilities:Deploy, manage, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters;Monitor cluster performance and availability to ensure high stability and resilience;Ensure cluster security through RBAC, network policies, and secure configurations;Optimize resource usage through effective pod scheduling and service configuration;Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment;Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster operation and performance;Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, upgrading, and scaling;Automate routine tasks using scripts and appropriate tools;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application integration.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).Experience:Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments;Solid background in Linux system administration;Experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker.Know-how:Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components;Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible);Experience with Kubernetes-related tools such as Helm, Istio, and Prometheus;Solid knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices;Experience with monitoring and logging tools;Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI);Knowledge of storage solutions and persistent volumes in Kubernetes is a plus.Experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) will also be a plusLanguages:Fluent in English (spoken and written);Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.Working Style and Methods:Structured and methodical approach to problem-solving;Comfortable working with automation and scripting;Strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.Personality:Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated;Strong sense of ownership and responsibility;Good communication and collaboration skills;Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing environments.Additional InformationWork #LikeABosch includes: ⚖️ Flexible work conditions Hybrid work system Exchange with colleagues around the world ‍⚕️ Health insurance and medical office on site (general clinic) Training opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch ️ Sports and health related activities (gym) Great access to public transports ️ Free parking lot ️ Canteen Success stories don´t just happen.
