THE ROLEWeâre on the lookout for freelance Knitting Pattern Designers to create original, easy-to-follow patterns for our monthly boxes. These should be fun, giftable, and manageable â projects our customers can complete in a few sessions, not weeks.We are looking for designers who can create patterns for all skill levels: â
Beginner Knittersâ for those picking up needles for the first time â
Intermediate Knittersâ for confident knitters ready for something new â
Advanced Knitters â for those who want a challenge and love a complex stitch WHAT YOU'LL DODesign creative knitting projects tailored to our monthly box format (accessories, home dĂ©cor, small wearables)Write clear, step-by-step instructions for a complete patternInclude all necessary details: yarn type, needle size, gauge, techniques, abbreviations, finishing instructions, and written instructions (charts optional)Take detailed photographs of steps that knitters can use as visual guides as they work through their projectsEnsure your pattern is formatted cleanly, easy to follow, and typo-freeWork closely with our team on revisions and feedback (if needed)Meet deadlines with no hand-holding WHO YOU AREYouâre an experienced knitter who has designed original patterns beforeYouâre skilled at explaining techniques clearly and simplyYou can take well lit, high-resolution, clearly detailed photographs for each key step in the patterns you createYouâre organized, responsive, and detail-orientedBonus if you have experience with formatting patterns, diagrams, or layout tools COMPENSATIONFreelance / per patternPay is competitive and depends on complexity and experience HOW TO APPLYSend us:A short intro: who you are + why youâd be a great fit1â2 knitting pattern samples (PDFs or links)Photos of your past work or a link to your IG/portfolioLetâs create something beautiful together â and help knitters of all levels fall in love with the craft.ELIGIBILITY & LOCATION REQUIREMENTSâThis role is 100% remote.At Foxelli Group, our team operates primarily in the Eastern European Time Zone (EET), which is UTC+2 and UTC+3.
