We are looking for Seasonal help only! Where you are available during the summer and potentially holiday seasons.
Duties
? Daily care of feeding and medicating dogs, cats, and small animals.
? Daily cleaning of dog runs and cat condos - to provide exceptional cleaning standards.
? Provide basic grooming for dogs - baths, nail trims, and ear cleanings.
? Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and well-being at check-in & check-out.
? Understanding the basics of our software, Gingr, to complete check-ins & check-outs and communicate all concerns to the staff about the pet and/or owner.
Experience
? Ability to understand the different temperaments of dog breeds.
? Physical stamina to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
? Previous experience in basic grooming for dogs.
? Any previous experience in the veterinary field is a PLUS!

? Communication - clearly communicating to your coworkers and Manager about any concerns that need to be resolved.
? Humility - ability to admit your own mistakes.
? Respect - your coworkers desire to work with you.
? Efficiency - working diligently until your shift is completed.
? Reliable - no calls outs or no shows.
? A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential.
? Golden Wood System - we have a system that is expected to be followed through within each of our locations.
Pay/Tips
? Once you've completed the Kennel Tech training program (which typically takes 3-5 weeks), you will be a part of the tip pool. Tips on a weekly basis average an extra $3-$5/hr for every employee. Taking your pay to $13-$16/hr. (Start pay depends on previous experience.)
