Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver effective lessons using classical traditional methods of instruction
Assess student progress and provide academic interventions as needed
Maintain a safe, attractive, and stimulating classroom environment
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues
Participate in required faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops
Requirements:
Texas State Teacher's Certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained Teacher
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
Passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in grade level or content area to be taught
Experience in classical education or traditional teaching methods (preferred)
