Key Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging art lessons to students in grades K-5 through EP Online, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills. Inspire each student to learn continuously, valuing their unique gifts and talents. Build strong relationships with students based on mutual trust and respect, understanding their individual needs and interests. Contribute to the EP Online community by participating in virtual staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other online events. Develop and implement art curriculum that aligns with district standards and promotes student-centered learning. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic growth. Stay up-to-date with best practices in art education and incorporate innovative technologies and methods into teaching. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an educational field, such as Art Education or Elementary Education. Possess a valid Minnesota Teacher License in Elementary Art by August 29, 2023 (or be in the process of obtaining it). Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to student-centered learning. Show evidence of successful teaching experience, preferably in an online or blended learning environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with online teaching platforms and digital tools, such as learning management systems and virtual classroom software. Knowledge of art education technologies, including digital art software and multimedia resources. Background in differentiated instruction and personalized learning strategies. Experience working with diverse student populations and promoting inclusive practices.
