We’re seeking a driven K‑12 Sales Director to lead growth, strengthen manufacturer partnerships, and expand district relationships across the K‑12 foodservice channel. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship‑focused sales leader who understands USDA Child Nutrition Programs and knows how to influence menu adoption in School Nutrition Programs.
What You’ll Do
• Lead K‑12 sales strategy to drive growth for our manufacturer partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with School Nutrition Directors, co‑ops, distributors, and state agencies.
• Manage bid submissions, pricing, forecasting, and product placement in school districts.
• Collaborate with manufacturers on business planning, reporting, and new product initiatives.
• Represent the company at SNA events, food shows, trainings, and district presentations.
• Track sales performance, pipeline opportunities, and distribution gaps.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in K‑12 foodservice sales (broker or manufacturer preferred).
• Strong understanding of USDA Child Nutrition Programs and school bid processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven success influencing district menu adoption and driving sales results.
• CRM proficiency and comfort with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to travel regionally/nationally as needed.
Great-to-Have
• Existing relationships with K‑12 operators, distributors, or co‑ops.
• Experience leading or mentoring a sales team.
• SNA involvement or certifications.
