About the Role

As a K-12 Education Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of field-based Account Executives who partner with K-12 customers to transform teaching and learning environments with Apple products. You will be the point of expertise and accountability for your territory, providing the training, resources, knowledge, and infrastructure needed to support US growth objectives. This is a home office, field sales role that requires up to 40% domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities


Lead and own the strategy for sales growth for your region, collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to the team on managing and engaging with K-12 customers and partners.
Ensure the team is operating with efficiency and accuracy, meeting or exceeding performance targets, and receiving regular support from a professional development perspective.
Develop and execute plans to drive business growth, leveraging your deep understanding of the K-12 Education vertical, including go-to-market strategy, customer profiles, market trends, and challenges.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the team, promoting Apple's values and mission.


Essential Qualifications


A minimum of 15 years of related experience in sales, education, or a related field.
5+ years of people leadership experience in technology sales, solution-based selling, or a similar role leading individuals to attain revenue targets and drive business growth.
Deep understanding of the K-12 Education vertical, including go-to-market strategy, customer profiles, market trends, and challenges.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


Preferred Qualifications


Ability to build, lead, and develop inclusive teams and attract and retain talent through performance management, coaching, guidance, and support.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Apple's values.
Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships.
Deep business acumen, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, with a forward-thinking mindset to analyze the market beyond the short term, foresee future possibilities, and translate data to plans, strategies, and actions.
Creative complex problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering a world-class customer experience.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists.
Experience managing a remote/geographically dispersed team is a plus.
Background driving performance across a large region, country, or functional area is highly preferred.
