About the Role:
Join shortart.co as a Junior Writer Intern and gain hands-on experience in creative and professional writing for digital and narrative content. This unpaid internship is designed to provide educational value, mentorship, and professional development. You will work closely with experienced writers and editors, contribute to ongoing projects, and refine your storytelling and writing skills under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting and editing written content for creative and digital projects
• Collaborate with creative and editorial teams on storytelling concepts
• Receive mentorship and structured feedback on your writing
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, reviews, and revisions
• Contribute fresh ideas and creative perspectives to ongoing projects
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a writing, journalism, English, communications, or related program
• Seeking academic credit or mentorship
• For OPT students: Position is unpaid and meets DOL criteria for unpaid internships
• Writing samples or a portfolio preferred
• SCAD ALUMNI are preferred but all are welcome to apply.*
