Role Overview

About the job Junior Social Media Associate

Support social media marketing efforts through content creation and account management.

Analyze performance metrics and engage with the online community.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy: Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with brand goals.

Content Creation: Curate, create, and edit engaging content (images, videos, written) for social media platforms.

Post Scheduling: Schedule and publish posts across social media channels using tools like Buffer or Hootsuite.

Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns.

Audience Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the audience to build community and loyalty.

Analytics and Reporting: Track social media performance using analytics tools; generate reports to measure success and suggest optimizations.

Caption Writing: Write compelling, on-brand captions optimized for different platforms and campaigns.

Requirements

Experience in managing social media platforms for brands or individuals.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and best practices.

Proficiency in social media management and scheduling tools.

Creative mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Optional Skills

Graphic design or video editing skills.

Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends.

Experience with paid social media campaigns and advertising.
