Role Description
This role involves working as a member of the performance testing team for TELUS Health proprietary software to meet the requirements of our new and existing clients.
Execute performance and load tests on TELUS Health’s proprietary applications
Write and maintain scripts in tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Monitor system performance, review logs, and assist with root cause analysis
Support configuration and maintenance of test environments
Collaborate with DevSecOps and development teams to troubleshoot performance issues
Contribute to performance test reports with clear analysis and recommendations
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives
Assist with special projects and other tasks, as required
Qualifications
U.S. citizen and resident (due to security clearance requirements)
Post-secondary degree or diploma in an information technology related field
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in QA or performance testing (employment, internship, or contract)
Requirements
Familiarity with APM tools (e.g., Datadog, AppInsights, New Relic)
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of modern application and infrastructure concepts (containers, microservices)
