Junior-Mid Level Web Developer
The objective of this engagement is to provide technical services to support the modernization, enhancement, and ongoing development of Accessible Housing Program (ACHP) web-based systems. Specifically, the Contractor shall:
ā¢ Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards, including WAG 2.1 AA and applicable ADA/Section 508 requirements
ā¢ Modernize legacy.NET applications to NET 8 and current architectural standards
ā¢ Implement scalable, maintainable, and secure application architecture patterns
ā¢ Design and support cross-platform system integrations
ā¢ Develop and enhance application features across frontend and backend layers
ā¢ Improve authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation using industry standards
ā¢ Enhance, maintain, and support WordPress-based websites and related integrations
Minimum Qualifications (Requirements):
ā¢ Minimum two (2) years of professional web application development experience
ā¢ Demonstrated experience developing applications using C# and modern NET (Core or later)
ā¢ Experience building or consuming RESTful APis
ā¢ Expenence with modern JavaSenpt and/or TypeScript
ā¢ Experience with at least one component-based frontend framework (Blazor, React, Angular, or Vue.js
ā¢ Working knowledge of relational databases and ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries
ā¢ Experience using version control systems such as Git
Preferred qualifications include:
ā¢ Experience with Blazor or MudBlazor
ā¢ Experience with PostgreSQL
ā¢ Familiarity with authentication concepts (JWT/OIDC)
ā¢ Exposure to multi-system integration environments
ā¢ Familiarity with web accessibility principles and responsive design best practices
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop and maintain application features across frontend and backend layers
ā¢ Build Ul components using Blazor/MudBlazor or comparable frameworks
ā¢ Implement and consume REST APIs
ā¢ Support database integration and data access logic
ā¢ Assist in modernization and refactoring efforts
ā¢ Contribute to WordPress integration/customization
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and adhere to established architectural standards
ā¢ Implement accessibility-compliant components in accordance with WAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 standards, and participate in accessibility audits and remediation efforts as directed.
