The role involves allocating customer orders, managing production schedules, and ensuring customer demands are met efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSales order allocation to manufacturing facility to meet customer demandPublish weekly lead-times and capacity for Hyperscale customersCoordinate schedule adjustments in response to customer change and expedite requestsStrive to meet each request by exhausting all optionsManage forecast capacity reservations/dedicated capacity to stay within their schedule window to meet a sales commitment to for Key Hyperscale customersCommunicate with Sales & Program Management to establish priorities when there are inventory or capacity conflictsWork with Program Managers, Production, and Sales to align capacity needs with demandWork with SEA Coordinator and Production Scheduling to meet customer expectationsKnow and understand the quality policy, quality objectives, and TL 9000 StandardKnow and apply the work instructions, procedures, and documentation of your areaDevelop work instructions of the operations of the area, approval of orders in Oracle, creation of jobs in OracleSupport to fulfillment Quality policy and accomplishment of quality objectives related to the areaFulfillment to the procedures developed for the work areaKnow, promote, and demand the fulfillment of the Environment, Health, and Safety policies, rules, procedures, and operative controls in order to maintain and improve our performance on these mattersSkillsAssociate degree or equivalent work experience1 year of manufacturing experience or production scheduling & administrative experienceAdvanced understanding of Microsoft Excel with experience navigating large data tables and performing analysis using pivot tablesIntermediate user of MS Office including Outlook, Access, and Word ApplicationsBenefitsFlexible time off policy401K Company match (up to 4% - dollar for dollar)Professional development, training, and tuition reimbursement programsExcellent medical, dental, vision, and life insurance policy optionsOpportunities for career advancement with an industry leading company!Company OverviewAFL is a telecommunication company that offers fiber optic cable, transmission and substation accessories to its clients.
