About the Role As a Junior Key Account Manager at Bark, you’ll play a vital role in driving growth and retention across some of our key partners. This role is all about combining commercial focus with exceptional client service. You’ll be responsible for maximising revenue opportunities within your portfolio, ensuring accounts achieve strong ROI, and building lasting relationships that support long-term success. You’ll work closely with Sales, Data & Insights, Marketing, and Finance teams to provide insights, deliver business reviews, and identify opportunities to re-engage and expand partnerships. Alongside developing your analytical and presentation skills, you’ll also gain exposure to strategy, contract management, and revenue forecasting. Responsibilities Drive overall portfolio revenue growth. Deliver exceptional customer service to key accounts, going above and beyond to maximise their ROI and strengthen client satisfaction. Focus on growth and retention strategies for our biggest clients, implementing initiatives to increase their lifetime value and foster long-term partnerships. Maintain strong internal communication channels with both sales leadership and the marketing team, providing regular updates on client performance & potential opportunities. Collect and analyse client performance data, providing valuable insights to support marketing initiatives and drive Bark’s commercial success. Conduct regular business reviews with accounts, presenting performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement, and proposing strategic recommendations. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities for key accounts. Work closely with key partners to successfully re-sign them for further fixed-term contracts, ensuring a stable and consistent pipeline of revenue for Bark. Collaborate with the Finance department to facilitate the collection of payments from accounts that are in arrears, ensuring the timely resolution of outstanding balances. Required Skills and Experience Proven experience in key account management or a similar customer-facing role within a sales environment. Knowledge of the sales and marketing landscape, including key industry trends, best practices, and competitive dynamics. Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships, driving growth, and achieving revenue targets. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering excellent client experiences. An analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
