Junior Investment Banker

Role Description This role involves supporting senior team members in evaluating fundraising opportunities, analyzing financial models, conducting market research, and preparing investor materials. This part-time role (10–20 hours per week) is ideal for individuals who want to gain exposure to both finance and the fast-growing AI sector. Conduct financial and market research on AI, technology, and adjacent industries. Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions and fundraising strategies. Draft pitch decks, investor memos, and other fundraising collateral. Assist in due diligence processes for prospective investment partners. Track industry trends, competitor benchmarks, and valuation analyses. Support the investment team with ad-hoc analysis and special projects. Qualifications Background in finance, economics, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing). 0–2 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate finance. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel/financial modeling. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with the AI/technology sector is a plus. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
